InkDay · last updated October 25, 2026

InkDay is an application for the PocketBook Verse Pro, with expected compatibility with Verse Pro Color. It has no server, no user accounts, no analytics and no advertising. This policy explains what data InkDay uses, where it is stored and who it is sent to.

Google user data

If you connect a Google account in InkDay settings, InkDay requests read-only access to Google Calendar (scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.readonly). With this access InkDay reads:

This data is used only to display your calendars in InkDay settings and your events on the InkDay dashboard of your own e-reader. InkDay does not create, change or delete anything in your calendar.

Storage. The calendar list, the displayed events and the OAuth refresh token are stored only on your e-reader, in the /mnt/ext1/system/config/ folder. They are not sent to the developer or to any third party. The data is replaced at each update; events outside the displayed period are not kept.

Sharing. Google user data is not shared, sold or transferred to anyone, and is not used for advertising or to train AI or machine learning models. Requests go directly from the e-reader to Google over HTTPS.

Sign-in page. During sign-in, Google redirects your browser to the InkDay sign-in page inkday.fandorka.eu/oauth.html, hosted on GitHub Pages. This static page has no server-side code: it saves the one-time authorization code as a file in the e-reader's Downloads folder, where InkDay picks it up and deletes it. The code cannot be used without a secret key that is generated on the e-reader and never leaves it. GitHub, as the host of the page, may log technical request data such as the IP address according to the GitHub privacy statement.

Website statistics. This website is served through Cloudflare and uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It does not use cookies or track visitors across sites; Cloudflare processes request data such as the IP address according to the Cloudflare privacy policy. The InkDay application itself sends no statistics.

Deletion. Press Disconnect in InkDay settings to delete the token and all calendar data from the e-reader. You can also revoke InkDay's access at any time in your Google Account permissions. Deleting InkDay's files from the e-reader removes all data as well.

InkDay's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Other services

The selected city and the last weather result are stored only on your e-reader.

Children

InkDay is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect their data.
